Split personality
Currently working on split personality, i feel that since this first experiment into this area i have been more interested in doing more with this idea, such as making people look out of proportion or their features less proportioned. This will fit in with surrealism because it is changing a person into something that isnt possible and is dream like. It is a common dream that you feel like you are being seen as different by others and things like only you can see that something looks weird and no one can see it aswell.

Slinkachu inspired photogrpahs
Slinkachu is a photographer who uses model people in situations that make them look normal sized, by using the blur technique that i used in the miniature village photo that i have recently done. I have used a small dollshouse cooking pot and placed it on a normal sized hob, just how he does. Carefully angled the camera so that i made good use of the rule of thirds. :)
Will keep working with this small theme! could give hours of fun!

Experiment from book
Found a really good book that shows lots of experiments that can be done in photoshop, one that i thought would worked well was making a miniature village!! Went out to take photos from a high angle like the photo they used in the example. Followed all the steps and came up with this!! LOVE THIS EFFECT. Love making things appear small, making things look like a tiny world. Could have some fun with this :)
Off to do more photography now...:)

More AO1
Jerry uelsmann, floating voids, simpler than i thought!!! just have to do marquee tool and use dodge and burn to do it. Also done some hands with a landscape in, like uelsmann, also a treehouse. Used knowledge of photoshop to do these, such as layering, erasing and opacity. Ivan bajic style ears, using symmetry and erasing carefully around the edge of the ear. Really like the outcome. Bajic very much about symmetry and black and white, that challenges what the human eye would expect to see.
Going to be trying out some new techniques soon! making a normal view seem like a model minature village. Also try some more voids in the sky with better shading!

Chema madoz AO1
I have been experimenting with Chema Madoz style photographs, however i have used manipulations in mine that he may not have used in all of his. The hair one worked really well, had to edit the hair in photoshop to make it curly...:)

Faces in strange places
To start off my Surrealism project i have been experimenting with some ideas from Ivan Bajic's selection, where he manipulates photos so that it looks like faces are on fruit, these are a couple of my examples. The actually pictures of the fruit are just ones i could get off the internet, but i took several pictures of my own face showing various emotions and used them on top to create these quirky photos! he only uses one facial feature so this is what i will go on to do with my experiments, then will try some that have other parts to them, for example someone biting out of a fruit and the fruits emotion :) Hope you enjoy my faces in strange places :)

Surrealism spider diagram
Hiya,
So i decided on Surrealism for my exam, feel like this has the most options that i can go down, and has some exciting ideas on the powerpoint, like Chema Madoz and the quirky little changes in the photos that are mind boggling. Done a spider diagram of my ideas that are just my initial ideas, will be experimenting with these soon and will upload as i go :)
